OEM & PRIVATE LABEL

A coffee roasting factory
that makes your brand

Our roastery is in Nakhon Pathom, just west of Bangkok. We roast and sell our own coffee every day, so every OEM batch is made by people who taste their own coffee, not just a machine running orders.

WHAT WE MAKE

From an existing recipe to starting from scratch

Roast to your recipe

Already have beans and a roast profile? Send us the spec, we roast to it and keep every following batch the same.

Blend development

Tell us the taste you want, the machine and the customer. We develop the blend and roast samples for you to try before deciding.

Your brand on the bag

We pack into your own branded bags, ready to sell. Use bags you already have, or we can help you find a bag design.

Grind, pack and seal to spec

Grind to suit the brewing equipment, choose the pack size, and seal ready to pass on to your customers.

CONTRACT ROASTING VS OEM

Contract roasting and coffee OEM: what is the difference?

Contract roasting means you already have green beans and send them to a roastery to roast to your profile. Coffee OEM means the factory sources the beans, roasts, grinds, packs and brands everything until it is ready to sell. Happy Roastery does both.

Who it suits

Cafés that want their own house beans · brands that want to sell coffee without investing in a roaster · hotels and offices with regular volume · growers who have a farm but no roaster yet

Why a roastery that sells its own coffee

We roast and sell our own coffee every day, so we know which profiles actually sell in Thailand. And you can order our real coffee to taste before deciding.

OEM · ODM · CONTRACT ROASTING

Three ways to work with us, based on what you already have

OEM and ODM are often used interchangeably in coffee. The simplest way to choose is to look at what you have today: beans, a recipe, or just a brand idea.

You have green beans → contract roasting

Send us your green beans and we roast them to the profile you want. Ideal if you have a farm or your own bean source but no roaster.

You have a recipe → OEM

Share your roast and blend spec and we produce to it, then lock the profile so the next batch tastes the same.

No recipe yet → we develop one

What many call ODM. Tell us the taste, your customers and your equipment, and we develop a blend and roast samples for you to try first.

All three can carry your brand (private label), with your choice of grind, pack size and sealing.

START YOUR COFFEE BRAND

Starting your own coffee brand: what to prepare

You do not need everything ready before you message us, but rough answers to these will speed up the recipe conversation.

Who will drink it

Café customers, office staff or people brewing at home. What sells is different for each.

How it is brewed

Espresso machine, drip or Moka Pot. This decides the roast level and grind.

The taste you want

Bright and fruity, smooth and chocolatey, or bold for milk drinks. See our 3 roast levels (Thai).

Bean type

Arabica, Robusta or a blend of both. We start mainly with Thai-grown beans.

Whole bean or ground, and pack size

Sell whole bean or ground ready to brew, in a pack size your customers finish while it is fresh.

Brand, bag and Thai FDA number

Use your own bags or let us help you find one. Label design is discussed per project, and we can help you apply for the Thai FDA (อย.) number.

FROM FARM TO YOUR BAG

Where the beans come from

We work with growers from the source, supporting them with knowledge and tools and doing growing R&D together, then bring the beans to roast at our roastery in Nakhon Pathom.

Arabica, Doi Thep Sadet

GI coffee from Thep Sadet, Doi Saket, Chiang Mai, grown at 1,000–1,500 metres. Read about Doi Thep Sadet (Thai) ↗

Robusta, Chumphon

From Sawi, Tha Sae and Phato in Chumphon, grown at 50–300 metres. Read about Chumphon Robusta (Thai) ↗

HOW WE WORK

From the first chat to your first batch

Talk through the brief

What coffee you want, who it is for, what equipment it is brewed on, rough volume and when you need it.

Samples to taste

We roast samples to the brief for you to brew on your own equipment, and adjust until it is right.

Lock the profile

We confirm recipe, roast level, grind and pack size so the next batch comes out the same.

Produce and ship

We roast on the agreed schedule, pack and seal to spec, and ship.

FOR CAFÉS BUYING BY THE BATCH

Want roasted beans in batches for your café?

If you run a café and want house beans, what many call wholesale coffee beans is, for us, the same work we do for OEM clients. The only difference is whether your brand goes on the bag.

You have a recipe

Send us the spec and we roast to it, locking the profile so the next batch tastes the same.

No recipe yet

Tell us the taste, the equipment and your customers. We develop a blend and make samples for you to taste first.

Your own brand

Private label: produced in your branded bags, with grind and pack size to suit your shop.

Batch size, roasting schedule and price depend on the recipe and pack size. Message us on LINE to talk details.

FAQ

What clients ask before starting

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the type of work. Roasting an existing recipe and developing a new one have different minimums. Message us with a rough brief and we will give you a clear answer for your project.

Can I taste samples first?

Yes. We roast samples to your brief for you to brew on your own equipment before deciding, and adjust until the taste is right.

Where do the beans come from?

Mainly Thai growing regions. Some recipes are blends that include imported beans. If you already have your own green beans, you can send them to us to roast.

Do you make the bags and labels?

We can pack into your branded bags, either bags you already have or a bag design we help you find. Label design is discussed per project.

Can you help with the Thai FDA (อย.) number?

Yes. We can help you apply for the Thai FDA number for coffee produced under your brand. Documents and steps are discussed when we confirm the project.

Will the next batch taste the same?

Once you approve the sample, we lock the roast profile and following batches are made from it. If a new crop tastes different, we always tell you first.

Can you roast only, with my own beans?

Yes. If you have green beans, send them to us and we roast to the profile you want. That is pure contract roasting, no need to use our beans.

What is the difference between coffee OEM and ODM?

OEM means producing to a recipe you already have. ODM means the factory develops the recipe and produces it under your brand. Happy Roastery does both, and contract roasting of your own beans too.

Which roast levels can I choose?

Light, medium and dark, chosen to suit the brew method and the taste you want. We adjust during sampling until it is right.

Can you grind for my equipment?

Yes. Choose whole bean or a grind for espresso, drip or Moka Pot, then we pack and seal to your pack size.

How much does coffee OEM cost?

It depends on the beans, the volume per run and the packing you need, so there is no standard price. Send us your brief and we quote for your project.

Where is the roastery?

In Nakhon Pathom province, just west of Bangkok. Clients who want to meet on site or watch a roast can book a visit in advance.

How do we start?

Message us on LINE with four things: the coffee you want, who it is for, the equipment it is brewed on, and rough volume. That is enough for us to assess.

Tell us your brief

Minimums, capacity and price depend on the job, so we would rather not publish a generic figure that does not fit your project. Tell us what you need and we will answer for your work.
